I’d say SonyLIV is okay value, but only if you watch it often enough. Personally, I don’t open it every day, so the price feels a little high for my usage. There are definitely some good shows and sports content, which is what keeps it useful for me, but the app can be slow at times and that gets annoying. Overall, it’s not a bad subscription, I just feel like the experience could be a bit smoother for what they charge

I like how simple sonyliv feels. The menus are clear, and I can get to shows or sports fast without wasting time. Search works fine too, so I’m not sitting there confused trying to figure out where everything is. I don’t know why so many other streaming apps make basic stuff so annoying, but at least sonyliv doesn’t get in my way.

The shows play just fine and I haven’t had any real issues watching stuff, but the recommendations are kind of hit or miss. I keep getting random things I’m not interested in, so that whole section feels unnecessary most of the time.

I got charged twice for my plan and support still hasn’t fixed it, which is really annoying because I’ve already reached out and I’m just sitting here waiting for someone to sort it out.

The app mostly works, but it does crash sometimes. Usually if I reopen it, it starts working again, so it’s not completely unusable. What gets annoying is how aggressive the reminders are, they pop up way too often and make the whole experience feel more pushy than helpful.

I travel a fair bit, so the geo-blocking can be a little annoying when I’m outside India. But i mostly care about whether it opens quickly and streams without buffering, and when I’m in India it does both just fine. Not a major issue for me overall

My kids watch on the TV as well, so being able to lock certain shows makes me feel a little more relaxed, if that makes sense. Setting it up was straightforward and didn’t take much time. It’s just nice to have that extra bit of peace of mind when they’re browsing on their own. Overall, it’s been a good experience

The video controls are really easy to use. Everything feels smooth, and rewinding or turning on subtitles is simple, which is nice because I’m usually half-watching while doing something else and don’t want to fuss with buttons.

I cancelled my Sony LIV subscription last month since I wasn’t watching it much anymore. Funny how we keep these subscriptions running and then suddenly realize we haven’t opened the app in weeks. Anyway, the cancel option was easy to find, and it stopped the auto-renewal without any confusion or drama. The only slow part was the refund — it wasn’t instant and took around 5–6 days to show up in my bank. I did contact support, and they replied after about a day with a proper update, so that was fine. Overall, it was a good experience, just wish the refund process was a little quicker.

I do watch a few shows on SonyLIV and overall the app is fine, so I’m still using it. But the notifications get annoying. A lot of them have nothing to do with what I actually watch, like random sports updates or shows I’ve never even opened. I’ve tried turning off some alerts, but I still keep getting stuff anyway. It’s not bad enough for me to uninstall, but it definitely feels spammy at times. The app is okay, I just wish the notifications were more relevant.

SonyLIV is decent enough, but the streaming limit is so annoying. We got it thinking the whole family could use it, and then suddenly someone’s watching a show, someone else wants cricket, and wait, why is it saying too many devices again? It just turns into arguments at home. For what we pay, it doesn’t really feel worth it for us.
